Incorporated Slaughter
The war on Terror
A war that never ends
and pays great dividends
to the shareholders
of Global Murder
The hostile takeover
Privilege and power
… never to yield
This world … an
industrialised battlefield
Corruption and greed
beyond all want and need
The disgrace taking place
or just the comedy tragic
of some corporate capers?
Truth and Justice?
Attacked and hacked
by predators
of the Paradise Papers
and tribal land grabbers
One man’s terrorist
another man’s freedom fighter
A media makeover
of whatever is leftover
When the earthbound ghost
of Milton Friedman directs
Lockheed Martin perfects
the long-distance killing
of foreign children
With all the style and grace
of a bribe on the side
from British Aerospace
As Boris the Johnson
charges towards the exit
will Trump ever regret
his betrayal of Kurdistan?
Once again the grieving
leaving brave and true allies
to the mercies of the Ottoman
He who fancies himself
to be the Green Turbid Sultan
of Nostradamus prophesy
who finally unites
the Persian and the Bedouin
for a road trip
to downtown Oblivion
But don’t be dismayed
Theresa May
one day Tony Blair will pay
for all the dirty deals he made
from Bagdad to Washington
and back again
seeking those certain
weapons of mass seduction
Two birds in the hand
of a Bush Invasion
The name of the game?
‘You’ve been had by the Big Bad’
Just ask Henry Kissinger
Was the Red Brigade
just a C.I.A. charade?
(If I disappear tomorrow
just like Aldo Moro
no need to look any further)
With all hell for leather
a golden glove from above
and under
the jackboot of forever
Get revenge for the past
Invest in a vengeful future
Dare to strike first
The only way to be sure
One brick short
of a Berlin Wall
the far left
same as ever
left bereft
of some equilibrium
The far right
all dressed up
in black and white
hiding in plain sight
behind the skirts
of state religion
Scoundrels of patriotism
industrialised
and amplified
with God on their side
The dog-eat-dog extreme
where the means are justified
The out of range obscene
scans the big picture
as seen through the screen
of a Pentagon computer
for some long range slaughter
As oblivion whispers
a silent scream
In the blink of a crime
whilst you still have time
hug your sons
and your daughters
In the whitewashed West
ever since the big fall
no matter how small
we are all part and parcel
of the Big Apparatus
on the scale
of Trickle-Down Economics
A Trade War is just what
the Emperor is after
For one thing always
leads to another
“Render unto …”
But never surrender
In the style
of gentle Jesus
For triumphant Caesar
he’s just another
trumped up pretender
By stealth
the sovereign
and common wealth
being stolen away
by the New Democracy
of Global Kleptocracy
Follow the weaponised money
Be under the sway
Don’t think twice, honey
Be corrupted absolutely
For petrol doesn’t grow on trees
The Price?
The life of someone
else’s baby . . . Selah
As innocence flees
the splintered home
of some shattered family
The White Helmets of Syria
my soul to deliver
If God really don’t exist
then why have a conscience?
Be in the pay
Become a franchisee
for ‘Bombs ‘R’ Us’
Invest in the Best
The new & improved
Privatised Military
Don’t Delay
Do it today
Adopt a Mercenary!
Perhaps a guard for the school
where your children
dodge bullets
and learn how to pray?
You have the right to alarm
to cause multiple harm.
After all …
this is a democracy!
I best buy a gun?
Better make it
a real big one!
Be a Pharisee
of Mammon Most High
and the Dollar Almighty
Then bless the troops
heading out to Armageddon
as the Bull Market
starts a-runnin’
and history keeps repeating
The ‘Masters of War’
now dressed as civilians
as the executioner’s face
behind a desk
is always well hidden
To spark the reaction
that leads to
Battleground Jerusalem
become a lone wolf
screw loose cannon
marching in unison
to the drum of a
global orchestration
“Make Our Tribe Great Again!”
For a paradise
never to come
For the children
of the great submission
it is not just regulation
It is what they become
Generation after generations
Wraiths of the Interregnum
permeating
a neolithic oppression
Following
the same old crash course
where the good die young
The cycle of history
crescendoing
where force meets force
to scrape the serpent’s tongue
with bayonets glistening
Under the gun …
Life & liberty on the run
A May Day Parade
of action and reaction
provides the ammunition
for the powers that be
with fearful public permission
to terminate personal freedom
“Will the cycle be unbroken?”
From predator politicians
to Hollywood actors & musicians
all marching
to the patriotic tune
of ‘Big Brother Cain
& the Company Munitions’
Play it again for me
one more time
As the Church
upon it’s perch teeters
Still drunk
on yesterday’s wine
Still eating
stale old crackers
Does love divine
cover a multitude of crime?
If only you knew
what those drones
and missiles do
At least it’s not us
being blown apart
Thank God it’s not me
… or you?

“Thou shalt not kill” ~ God
“But to you who are listening I say:
Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who
mistreat you.
If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also.
If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them.
Give to everyone who asks you,
and if anyone takes what belongs
to you, do not demand it back.
Do to others as you would have them do to you.” ~ Jesus

Do you think or believe that war is an invention of the right, the white or the west? You’re quite good, but unfortunately your eyes are still closed to the realities on all sides. We are all fodder, your affiliation doesn’t change that. We are all disposable and we are all meaningless in the eyes of the maniacal. From Washington D.C. to the EU, the Pope and the Vatican City to Russia, China, Japan, Australia and the list continues, the secret clans and organizations, all are culpable and all blame the other, for their own actions or inactions.
What would you suggest happen, if I may ask? Have you ever volunteered to fight in a war, have you ever fought for your loved ones to your left and right?

A magnificent political chronicle of our times, David. I like how you grasp all these topics of power abuse, war and injustice. Not many people write political poetry on WP. It breaks my heart to see so much injustice and power abuse in our world, just today that I feel especially sad, sad, sad… for you know what is happening in my country. For me October 1, 2017 and October 14, 2019, will mark and are marking turning points in the history of Catalonia and Spain. How can the Spanish state send the police to beat up peaceful protesters, prosecute people for their ideas, imprison them and sentence innocent people to jail. In just one week, four people have lost one eye, each person, because of rubber balls shot by the Spanish police. I never thought this would happen. I am not used to this. I have lived too well until now. I believed Spain was a solid democracy, but no, the regime is turning more authoritarian each day. I wish I could escape and live somewhere else. But we need to lose our fear and keep up going out to the streets protesting peaceably. Our Catalan-Spanish conflict will never be resolved judicialising a political issue. We need international help, mediation. Please, watch this video and make it known to every one. We are not violent, we are not terrorists. It is the Spanish state that is constantly fabricating fake news. This is the truth: https://youtu.be/c04kj0nX688
