      2. Yet, there is something about standing
        before a masterpiece, in the flesh 🎨
        Once, whilst gazing at Rene Magritte’s
        ‘Personal Values’, I fell head first into
        the painting 😎 🖼️ A surrealistic white
        rabbit experience 🐰

    1. I found the Dottori ‘Crucifixion’
      hidden away in the Vatican, where
      nobody would ever see it. So I just
      had to take a snap. Not sure if that
      was kosher, as photography is not
      allowed nearby in the Sistine Chapel?
      Anyway, I was just there to appeal
      my recent excommunication for the
      crime of hanging out with Marxist
      revolutionaries. I tried to explained
      that they were actually members of
      my extended family, not friends.
      But sadly, to no avail. So what’s a
      few stolen sneaky snaps? 😎

    1. Thanks Vanessa.
      He went 2 days before his 95th
      birthday, so not entirely unexpected.
      But, he was as tough as old boots.
      He donated his body to medical
      science, so no funeral. A canny old
      Scottish skinflint to the end ✝️ 😎

  17. True. Dad was critically injured in a
    boating accident when he was in his
    forties, and wasn’t expected to live.
    So he spent the next fifty years
    determined to prove the doctors
    wrong. That’s why they requested his
    body be left for scientific research.
    They’re still trying to figure out what
    made him tick 🤔
