Michael comes from Miami FLA.
He’s painted his way across the USA.
A poetic accomplice of Charlie Zero
(also on WordPress), with an eye for
the classics ๐๏ธ. Apparently he’s
induced a ‘poetry writing machine’
to produce visual masterpieces?
But l dare not ask him to explain.

Take a woman like your kind

From my toes up to my ears
The man in me will hide sometimes

An excellent portrait that Vermeer era woman artist is painting of you, David.
No doubt another old master painter is in the shower giving a shower as he caresses his brush.
It’s none other than Sofonisba
Anguissola, Christopher.
A household name (if you’re a
Sixteenth Century wealthy
Italian patron of the arts ๐ค),
and a Renaissance Superstar
of portraiture. But you can clearly
see ๐ her choice of subject was,
at times, a little poor ๐
(I don’t think Uncle Ernie’s career
as a nude male model goes back
that far. Posing for Salvador Dali’s
‘The Great Masturbater’ was a one
off, since it doesn’t pay that much.)
These are cool.

A portrait can be a portal of the soul.
Yet blended with the artist’s paint, sweat,
heart, and toil.
