“Religion that God our Father accepts
as pure and faultless is this:
to look after orphans and widows
in their distress and to keep oneself
from being polluted by the world.”
~ Book of James
I have to agree. I really like the image.

Whether Armenia, Ethiopia, Yemen,
or Eritrea, starvation has long been
a weapon of war.

A beautiful poem about Mother Ethiopia, David.
I hope the people of that great nation will survive war and famine.

It would seem the whole Horn
of Africa is caught on the horns
of a tribal dilemma, with religion
thrown into the sandwich ππ₯ͺ

Ok, David. Holy cow. Lord have MERCY. And many F bombs because sometimes when the heart is overflowing all poetry and gentle words leave the building. I just reread Your broken Hallelujah post/poem out loud…and am SLAYED!!!! It’s brilliant. Gorgeous. It’s everything. My mind is still dancing on many levels and my soul is sitting in the corner smiling. I can’t even comment on this post because although it is beautiful I had to comment once again on that other post I read long ago and already commented on. Ok….MR. STEAM TRAIN DIVINE of Most WONDERFUL Words……I bow and glorious Namaste…..say THANK YOU! and Happy New Year! Sending huge hugs Your way! π€π₯π

Perhaps because I find your words

I’ll do my best, despite the gremlin

AHHHH! DAVID! Firstly, it’s absolutely my pleasure!!! I LOVE reading You and seeing Your wonderful art and adventures!!! I’m crazy honoured You like my words and art! That gifts the hugest smile to my mouth and heart!!! Thank You! I was absent from blogland most of last year. Life gremlins….but all is very well. Made a lot of huge personal changes and had family needs that required care/attention/time/transition….but have landed on my feet and am slowly re-emerging into my art and wonderful blogland! AND…..I somehow didn’t realize it was the year of the Water Tiger!!! That’s so rockin’!!! I, myself, am a Wood Dragon…..but I adore TIGERS! How fun! May this glorious Water Tiger Year be awash with good cheers and much good karma for You and Your Beloved Brood as well!!! Sending huge hugs Your way!!! π€πππ―π¬ππ

As Bon Jovi might say . . .
The institutions of religion
often give love a bad name . . .
so best to keep living on a prayer π
