On a molecular level . . .

all things bright and beautiful.

She’s no misandrist . . .

She just doesn’t know who to trust
. . . for on a cellular level
she’s perpetually in trouble … and
unfairly labelled a Receptor Agonist
Ever giving . . . Always receptive
In a game of survival of the greediest
that is no way to live

And it’s no wonder. Trust or a trist can be a tryst or take a twist, and one might never know which one is trustworthy.

Finding true paradise
in a lover’s sweet embrace 💞
there’s always a risk 🤔🕶️
of another slap to the face 🤚😎
but it’s worth a second chance
in the name of romance 💕
Thanks for the comment

Thank you for the new word: “misandrist”! I’ll have to remember it.

You’re very welcome, Liz.
Just don’t use it against me 😎
It could come in handy when
thinking about the presidency 🤔🕶️
as “misogynist” gets way too
much airtime 📺 👀

I won’t use it against you. 😉

I was scrolling down the photos and captions, when suddenly, my foot slipped out of the stirrup, at the word ‘misandrist’, I remounted my steed and fled the scenario before my head turned red …

You did the right thing, Ivor 🐎 ☑️
A misandrist 🚫 will just leave you
high and dry, and face down in the
dust. It’s all that misandry stuff.

Not only did you provide some eye-popping artwork, David, but you taught me my new word for the day, “misandrist.” I had to look it up. I’ve always loved men, though I have heard that there are misandrists out there! I used it in a sentence, too!🤣
I love your art , including the vintage photo! Have a great week ahead!

Thank you most aesthetically, Cheryl 🙏
Fernande Olivier was a model, muse, and
friend, of Pablo Picasso. She didn’t seem
to mind being dissected 🦵🙃🦶 and then
reassembled into disjointed parts 🤔🕶️
unlike several other of Pablo’s models
and lovers. Apparently the process of
being artistically vivisected took a very
heavy toll on their mental health.

Great art, David. I too had to look it up. She looks like pure innocence but sounds like trouble. 👿

Thank you, Cindy 🙏😎
From my limited experience, trouble
that involves the loss of innocence
usually requires two participants.
Love is a gamble, where winning can
be such bliss 💞 or nothing but double
the trouble 🚫 🤔🕶️

Great post, David with extraordinary artwork. Wonder what year that old sepia photo was taken, it’s striking.

Fernande Olivier was a model for
Pablo Picasso (clothing optional).
One of his better known paintings of
her (Reclining Nude) is dated 1906.
That’s around the time she would’ve
been working as a photo model.

My self-indulgent pleasure 😎
Miss O’Genie suffers terribly
from misogyny in this patriarchal
society. But despite all that, she’s
no misandrist. Quite the opposite,
in that she loves men a bit too
often and a bit too much 🤔🕶️

I’ve got to use my imagination, Bojana,
to find a horror story with a happy ending:
From the White House, to the Kremlin,
the Man in the Mirror gets a spiritual
enema, along with a postcard from the
