    1. Thank you, Friedrich ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜Ž
      In defence of the indefensible,
      woodlice are nature’s little
      decomposers who break down
      everything they encounter,
      from decaying organic matter
      to decaying social order ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ•ถ
Look under any pile of compost
      and you’ll no doubt find ๐Ÿ’ฉ ๐Ÿ‘€
woodlice hard at work โ˜ข๏ธ ๐Ÿšซ

      1. Thank you, David! ๐Ÿ™ Even though the comparison with woodlice came to mind immediately, it’s unfortunately quite apt, as you pointed out. Yes, they’re very hardworking, and if we’re being honest, they’ve already done a considerable amount of work this year. A woodlice could never accomplish that on its own. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜Ž

    1. If I may, I think/hope, that most of the world understands it’s not Americans who are to blame for ๐ŸŽƒ. (Only half, LOL). Sorry for the bad joke, but I sincerely believe most of the world understands what Americans are going thru. As an example, only a handful of Argentinians supported the military junta. Likewise with the people from Chile.

      1. The current administration does
seem to have a crazy, mixed up,
Peronist aroma to it ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ•ถ Perhaps,
in many years time โฐ๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘€ we’ll be
able to look back and laugh whilst
singing along to “Don’t Cry For Me,
        America (the Melania Trump story)”.
I have family still living stateside,
but I now consider my moving to
Australia (where the skies are so
blue, and the government true) as
the smartest thing I’ve ever done.
        Thanks for reading, Brian ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜Ž

      2. Down Under seems like a good choice. A good friend of mine moved there a good while back. He’s very happy.
As for “Don’t cry for me America”, it’s a good ‘revisit’. I might use it one day.
Me? I moved to mexico another while back… It has is great advantages and drawbacks. The greatest of all is proximity to the US…
        C’est la vie.
        Be good, David.

    1. Thanks Charlie ๐Ÿ™ Only 3 more
      years and the Reichsfรผhrer will
be given the boot ๐Ÿ‘ž ๐Ÿ‘ฟ (unless he
he makes himself King for Life?๐Ÿ˜ฑ)
Being a free-range observational anthropologist of some ill repute,
I find the 10,000 miles distance
      between me and Washington not
      nearly enough ๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ•ถ

      1. But you’d need a microscope ๐Ÿ”ฌ
to see it, as it can only be measured
        using quantum mechanics ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ˜Ž
        (that’s the President’s humanity๐Ÿ”Ž๐Ÿ‘โ“๏ธ)
