Just One Drop

Just one drop
that falls not
That never fails
in erasing all fault

A death
that brings life
One for all
with the serenity
of a friendly voice
I hear the call
Always a choice
to steer your vessel
on a heavenly course
Words of wisdom
the truth to tell
One drop of love
that doesn’t fall
and never fails

Just one drop
of grace divine
suspended . . .
in the fullness of time
No silent witness
to a world of crime
A door is wide open
as the Word
has been spoken
throughout the expanse
of infinite space
One drop of hope
for this human race

Just one drop …
more than enough

  3. That painting is sublime… and I love these words: “In the serenity / of a friendly voice / I hear the call / Always a choice / to steer your vessel / on a heavenly course” – so true, David.

By the way, it’s the strangest thing… wordpress reader has not been and still is not showing me your two latest posts in the feed, even though I am following your blog… it’s only via clicking your username in my notifications that I come to check on your blog and see them. Same with a few of my other most favourite blogs. Odd. Anyway, shine on, you crazy diamond ๐ŸŒˆโ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’›โœจ

    1. WordPress connects, and

      Thanks for overcoming the machine,
treating us like two lost souls ๐Ÿ‹ ๐Ÿฌ
swimming in a social media fish bowl,

You’ve reminded me. I was just on
a visit to the Costa del Sol, in spirit.
In Torremolinos there is a nice Irish
restaurant, and I miss it ๐Ÿ€
Say hello to Pablo for me ๐Ÿ˜Ž And
      have a wonderfully festive fiesta.
Perhaps even a sangria in Malaga?

so saying hello should be just fine ๐Ÿ˜Ž
And yes, there is Sangria here and Irish pubs galore, come on over, come ashore
the Southern Spanish lands where Moors
Jews and Christians peacefully lived together
has always sunny lovely weather ๐Ÿ˜Ž Gracias por tus buenos deseos mate, for buenos deseos itยดs never too late ๐Ÿ’›

      1. “God knows the secrets
        of your heart,
        He’ll tell them to you
        when you’re asleep.
        God knows there’s a river,
God knows how to make it flow,
        God knows you ain’t gonna
        be taking nothing with you
        when you go.
        God knows there’s a purpose,
        God knows there’s a chance,
God knows you can rise above
        the darkest hour
        of any circumstance.”
