The “Dulce Vita” indeed, my friend. I don’t think you missed a beat. This was brilliant. I think of him and I get as red as his hair/face but you managed to mentioned and cover so much about not only who he is but what he has done in this piece. The artwork is something else too. That first piece looks like it is on canvas. It is really eye-catchy – you are just full of surprises my friend. I would read a section and think, “it can’t get any better than this, and then I would read the next section.” You hit on so many important aspects of what has been happening. It reads like someone poking fun “in an intellectual way,” yet you hit so many of the truths of what has in fact really been happening, and one can’t help but respect the immense knowledge put together in one place. I did enjoy the references which were both funny and true. I also thought it was pretty smart to bring in the “White Walkers,” and the bit about Charlotte’s web – well that is beyond clever.
We don’t know what will happen next but you pretty well summed up what he has managed to do so far and you didn’t miss a beat. I did appreciate the humor because if you don’t laugh what are you going to do. Scott is always saying something that makes me laugh but I think we both make jokes to keep from crying. Our country has gone backwards so much that I shudder when I think of how long it could take to make things right – is that possible? I have been around a while David and I must say that I haven’t been this worried about what is happening in our world, at this degree, ever. I am not talking about the horrors of the past, but then things are looking strangely familiar. The hanging of the photos of himself in front of the government buildings – will we all know what that makes us think of and lost children that have never been accounted for – well I can’t even bare to think of it and yet I can’t seem to stop thinking of it. Great art – brilliant write – humor and warnings where they belonged. Aren’t you glad you don’t live here!!!! Peace, love and blessings to you and your lovely wife. 🙏🤗
