A supermarket chain ripping customers off. What a surprise. Retail retaliation photography sounds very satisfying.

Coincidence? ๐ค๐ถ I think not, Liz.
The extensive smashing of the local
supermarket windows (like every one
broken) was the very next day after a
guilty verdict, with an impending $150
million fine for ripping consumers off ๐
Somebody obviously got angry!

If you’re gonna rip people off, don’t be surprised when they retaliate.

I believe there’s even a bible verse
to cover that particular subject:
“A false balance & dishonest business
practices are extremely offensive to the
Lord, but an accurate scale is His delight”
~Proverbs 11:1 (Amplified)

Breakโฆ breakโฆ break indeed. Looks like the glass felt the discount before the customers did. ๐๐คฃ
Sharp post, with sharper impact.

Upon first contact, and
surrounded by broken glass,
I was feeling rather alienated ๐ฝ
There was shards of violence
on the retail dance floor ๐๐๐บ
But then, what would I know
about consumer law? I’m no
revolutionary insurrectionist ๐ค๐ถ
More an indentured reactionary.
Thanks for not throwing the first
stone, as that would be extremely
naughty ๐ซ ๐

Ah, so not a rebelโฆ just a reflective soul accidentally cast in a supermarket tragedy.
There you were, surrounded by shattered transparency and wounded discounts, contemplating consumer law like it was a distant galaxy. Very avant garde.
Rest assured, no stones from this side. I travel light โ only carrying wit. ๐๐

Not withstanding, like splinters

wit is greatly appreciated, whilst my

A dollar down, honour untouchedโtruly a heroic saga in aisle seven.
Fear not, for Robin Hood might be busy elsewhere, but your wit has already looted my laughter treasury. ๐๐

Such a sad statement. Has everyone always been this angry?

Ya gotta love those breaks, David. So well done.
Yes, we all seem to be under an orange thumb.

On that subject, here’s my favourite
quote of the week:

we’re working to line the pockets
of billionaires. We are being bled dry.”

Yes … but a situation common to
the entire industrialised West, with
it’s impoverished working class, and
rapidly vanishing middle class.

I worked in Woolworths for about a year and while all the staff were great, the management was terrible. I learned all their sneaky tricks and so let thieves get away whenever I saw them. I’ve always thought that it is ok to steal from corporations. ๐ ๐คฃ
Tip for the bold: Staff in supermarkets are not allowed to touch customers and not allowed to block your exit, so if something were to accidentally fall into your pockets, just don’t listen to them and go on your way. Video is often given to the police though so you might not want to try this in your local Woolworths or Coles.
NB: I am not suggesting that you do this, but you might have second thoughts when you see others doing it.

Thanks for that tip, Shaun ๐๐
When it comes to giving yourself
a five finger discount ๐ I’d leave
it to the experts, the Supermarket
executives. When it comes to retail
crime they’re at the top of the food
chain. Overcharging customers is
just the tip of the iceberg lettuce,
so to speak. What they do to the
suppliers is mafia style extortion.

initialise anything (especially any
