Curious Aquarius

Aquarius curious
with the overflowing
from a crystal chalice
I am floating
… carried
by living waters
along green pastures
Ares upon bended knee
where Leo lies
down with the lamb
What is to be
upon the wings of a dove
what has past
. . . forever
hope, faith, and love
The future sure
by grace from above

Aquarius curious
What’s the grand plan?
Taurus …
he’s down Wall Street
running the circus
with Cancer
and Capricorn
upon the horns
of an astral dilemma

As ever
Virgo a no go
She’s lost all hope
after the forcast
of a stormy horoscope
With much lament
the Age of Aquarius
it came and it went
with barely a glimmer
Did you catch a glimpse?
There’s always
another maniac
putting their trust
in the Zodiac
as the constellations
continue to drift
No longer in place
A horoscopic rift
Perhaps it is
the season of the witch
as fortunate tellers
are out to make it rich?

Aquarius curious
The Twins on a cusp
torn between
Scorpio and Sagittarius
high up in the sky
as Pisces hides
down deep in the sea

Are you following
the wrong chart?
Seeking secrets
hidden in the dark?
Look to the Creator
who holds the future
It starts in the heart ❤️
that Kingdom thing
Like a pearl of great price
the source
it comes from within
not like some force
from outer space
Freedom from superstition
and the traditions of men
with liberation
in the balance ⚖️
A holy treasure
beyond Libra’s full measure

      1. Pisces in the royal house
        of Aries was the astrological
        occurance that summoned
        the Magi to Bethlehem,
        according to actual astronomical calculations
of the night sky 2000 years
        ago.

  1. I am old enough to remember the Age of Aquarius (and Donovan). So many are misled by astrology and those promises in the stars – blind to the Creator’s reflection in His own creation. But the fault, as Shakespeare said, is not in our stars. It is in ourselves.

    1. Yes . . . that way madness lies.
I’m old enough to have attended a Donovan
concert in the 70’s, towards the twilight of
his career. He had become a New Age
caricature of himself, sadly. Dressed as a genie out of a magic lamp, and performing
cross legged upon a Persian carpet.
Living in the bohemian inner city, I’d seen
      enough evidence, amongst the human
wreckage, that not all paths lead to paradise.

  2. Ahh seems good to float on the seabed in my March birthday suit while all this drama unfolds above..I love your colors and the painting, chalice and all, is just right for this anti-zodical poem.. Love these lines,
    “it comes from within
    not like some force
    from outer space”

    Oh it does David:)

    1. Color me curious, Karima! The thought
of you swimming about the chalice in my
aquatic painting is rather nice 😎💭

I was prompted to write this post after
      reading how.the traditional Zodiac is
wrong due to many years of planetary
drift. Some astrologers have tried to
compensate for this fact by inventing
a new star sign to fill the gap 🤔🕶️
