I dreamt upon
the flight of night
riding the backseat
of a V8 Ford Pilot
whilst a Corporate Shaman
was stealthily installing
into my right arm
a mechanism
powered by lithium
that would recharge
my iPhone
disseminate information
and track me on my trek
across an outback desert
I asked . . .
was this for my benefit
or the Corporation’s?
A vow of silence
prevented him

Summer Seeking
Prior to Heatwave Cerberus 🙏🥵
Summer seeking
somewhere
over the horizon
under a foreign sun
These neapolitan nights
revealing northern stars
a sight so foreign
to a Down Under traveller
from where the Big Dipper
always points north
so I followed that course
leading me here to gaze
at a stranger moon
bearing scars unfamiliar
on it’s pockmarked face
Now at a loss …
the Southern Cross
even the Milky Way
seem to have somehow
all gone astray?
The Brahman Global
As far as the East
is from the West
at the speed of desperate need
progress … a grab bag of plastic
all mixed up with curses blessed
by the priests of endless greed
Outback Trek: Hebel Town Dreamtime
Roaming the Never Never
an ancient and sacred land
where the secreted past
paves over a haunted future
Lingering upon the red desert sand
crimes not forgotten
A whisper from the Dreamtime
asking …
“Can all things be forgiven?”
