Earth to Mars
My husband
is again missing
deep in cyber space
He was last seen
orbiting Mars
whilst writing a poem
Does Elon Musk know

Words spawned
from the mouth
of a hungry zeitgeist

and it’s hotter than hell
I could do with a feed
and a drink or two
Best stop up ahead
at the Hebel Town Hotel

I’ve been kissed by a Camel on the lips
… a baby dromedary named ‘Bogan’.

To click the mouse
of an indiscreet meet and greet
Then hiss the growl
with some lone wolf
of nondescript sandwich meat

Hey Babe . . .
don’t you mess
with the Missionary Man!
He’s getting on
with that missionary plan
the best that he can
